The Word: God's Work

Jacob was a doer...with some hard work and a bit of cheating, lying, wheeling and dealing he managed to become rich and powerful. But taking a closer look, Amy points out that he never had to do anything. The Lord had called and chosen Jacob to walk in the blessings of Abraham. So many of us try to work out our own blessings, and often the Lord has already worked it out for us!

This week Amy Kropp takes a look at genesis 22 and the account of Abraham’s willingness to offer his son, Isaac as a sacrifice of obedience to the Lord.
